About the Circle Gallery:
Located in a former general store built circa 1840, Circle Gallery is noted for its adaptive use of historic space.
Built by Thomas Franklin, Circle Gallery occupies the second story of the original building which fronts on Main Street. The gallery occupies the storage space of the former general store and visitors may still see the giant pulley and location for the trap door used to lower large items down to the Main Street location for sale.
The original five-course American brick and timbers set at 17" and 19" are still visible within the gallery space, giving a rustic, antiqued feeling offset by the modern gallery presentation.
